Compañía teatral encabezada por la actriz Adriana Duch, con sede en la ciudad de Xalapa, Veracruz, dedicada a la creación y promoción nacional e internacional de espectáculos basados en el lenguaje teatral del Clown. El objetivo principal de esta joven compañía es desarrollar un teatro Clown propio, colaborando con artistas especializados en este lenguaje y complementándolo con géneros afines como la Máscara, los Títeres y el Cabaret, que integran la formación teatral de los miembros de la compañía.

Sus diversos proyectos han contado con el apoyo de importantes instituciones como The Anglo Mexican Foundation, el Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes, y el Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes. Además cuenta con el aval de instituciones culturales y empresas privadas del Estado de Veracruz.

Theater company headed by actress Adriana Duch, with headquarters in Xalapa, Veracruz, dedicated to the creation and national and international promotion of shows based on the theater language of the Clown. The main objective of this young company is to develop its own Clown theater with the collaboration of artists that specialize in this language, and complementing it with related genres such as Mask, Puppets, and Cabaret which are part of the theater training of company members.

Different projects of this company have had the support of important institutions such as The Anglo Mexican Foundation, the Consejo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (National Council for Culture and Arts), and the Fondo Nacional para la Cltura y las Artes (National Fund for Culture and Arts). Furthermore, it is supported by cultural institutions and private companies from the State of Veracruz.

Cállate
Historia de amor situada en la época de la Revolución Mexicana, contada con una explosiva mezcla de melodrama y humor irreverente.
Protagonizada por tres personajes Clown inspirados en los estereotipos de aquella etapa histórica: la hacendada blanca y malévola (Scarlett Oaxaca), la sirvienta indígena maltratada (María José) y el revolucionario macho (José María), la trama del espectáculo gira en torno al triángulo amoroso en el que se enganchan los tres personajes: la patrona y la sirvienta luchan para conseguir el amor del único galán disponible. Esta situación sirve como pretexto para explotar las infinitas posibilidades cómicas inherentes a las relaciones de pareja y de poder.
Este espectáculo cómico, escandaloso e irreverente tiene como marco un escenario sencillo – un telón de fondo con una típica hacienda mexicana pintada, un cactus y una bugambilia colgando – y se complementa a la perfección con canciones en vivo, el uso alternado de películas y luz de estrobo que evocan el cine mudo de principios del siglo XX, con espectaculares escenas de lucha libre y hermosas imágenes inspiradas en las películas de la época de oro del cine mexicano.

Utiliza el lenguaje teatral del Clown – la particular visión que de este lenguaje tiene el director del espectáculo Cal McCrystal – para burlarse sin pudor de las ridículas costumbres de la sociedad mexicana de la época de la revolución arraigadas en el racismo, la explotación del pueblo y el dominio del hombre sobre la mujer, costumbres que lamentablemente persisten hasta nuestros días en nuestro país y en el resto del mundo.
A partir de su estreno en el año 2006, este espectáculo se ha presentado en importantes foros y festivales teatrales en México y en el extranjero como: Sala Chica del Teatro del Estado (Xalapa, Veracruz), Teatro Orientación (México, D.F.), Encuentro Internacional de Teatro del Cuerpo organizado por el Grupo Teatro Línea de Sombra (Pachuca, Hidalgo), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Edimburgo, Escocia), Harare International Festival of the Arts (Harare, Zimbabwe), Festival de Teatro Universitario (Baja California), Festival de Teatro Nuevo León 2008 (Monterrey, Nuevo León), Teatro del IMSS (Monterrey, Nuevo León).
En el año 2008, Cállate fue seleccionado para participar en el IV Encuentro de las Artes Escénicas que se llevará a cabo en marzo de 2009, organizado por el Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes de México.

Cállate
Love story that takes place during the Mexican Revolution, narrated with an explosive mixture of melodrama and irreverent humor.
In the lead roles are three Clown characters that are inspired by the stereotypes of that historical time: the white malicious landowner (Scarlett Oaxaca), the mistreated indigenous servant (María José), and the macho revolutionary (José María). The plot of the show revolves around a love triangle in which the three characters hook up: the landowner and the servant fight to get the love of the only man available and this situation leads to infinite comical possibilities that are inherent to couple and power relationships.
This shocking and irreverent comedy show has a simple stage: a backdrop with a typical Mexican hacienda painted on it, a cactus, and a bougainvillea hanging down; this is perfectly enhanced with songs played live, the alternate use of movies and strobe light that evoke silent movies from the beginning of the twentieth century, spectacular wrestling scenes, and beautiful images inspired in the movies of Mexico’s golden age cinema.

Uses the theater language of the Clown – the particular vision that show director Cal McCrystal has of this language – to openly mock at the ridiculous customs of Mexican society during the Revolution which were deeply rooted in racism, the exploitation of the people, and male control over women, and which unfortunately still prevail nowadays in our country and the rest of the world.
Since its opening in 2006, this show has been presented on important stages and theater festivals in Mexico and abroad: Sala Chica of the State Theater (Xalapa, Veracruz), Teatro Orientación (Mexico City), International Encounter of Theater of the Body organized by Grupo Teatro Línea de Sombra (Pachuca, Hidalgo), Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Edinburgh, Scotland), Harare International Festival of Arts (Harare, Zimbabwe), University Theater Festival (Baja California), Theater Festival Nuevo León 2008 (Monterrey, Nuevo León), Teatro del IMSS (Monterrey, Nuevo León).
In 2008, Cállate was selected to participate in the IV Encounter of Performing Arts that will be held on March 2009, organized by the Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes Mexico.
